Transparency: how we are funded
Using Schutz-Guenstiger costs nothing. Here's how labelled Verivox comparisons fund the site, and what that means for how we write.

Use is free of charge. If you conclude a contract in a labelled Verivox comparison, Thinkstars GmbH may receive a fee.
Clear separation
Needs checks, calculator logic and editorial order are not ordered by commission level. Comparison calculators are visibly labelled as external partner content and only load once you allow them.
Other portals
Strom-Guenstiger, Gas-Guenstiger and Internet-Guenstiger are separate services. We only link to them when a life situation such as moving house or household costs makes the connection clear.
Our role
Schutz-Guenstiger is not an insurance intermediary: we do not advise, do not broker insurance and are not involved in concluding contracts. The embedded comparison and sign-up process are provided by the Verivox group (Heidelberg), which is registered as an insurance broker under § 34d GewO. Which Verivox company you deal with is stated in the statutory initial information you receive in the comparison. Your contract partner is the insurer.
